NINTH LESSON

Today I mainly went through my investigate thoroughly. I asked my peers if it is fine and if I am missing out anything. I found quite a lot of gramatical mistake which was later corrected by me. Today I learnt the importance of going through my work. I compared my work with my peer's and I thought it was not a bad piece of work at all. I was nice had quite a lot of detail. This time I did not procrastinate as much as I did last semester. This is a screenshot of a part of my investigate which was the bibliography:  

                                                 EIGHTH LESSON

I want to finish everything by today which is quite possible. Currently, I am on wood finishing and I have product analysis, design specifications and evaluation to go. I think I can do it!
Today I mainly worked on product analysis at school and did the design specifications, evaluation and bibliography. It was a very easy job today and I enjoyed a lot. This was the first time I had ever done a product analysis which also means that this was surely a learning experience.  But today, I had easy jobs and I enjoyed a lot. AT LAST, I AM DONE WITH MY INVESTIGATE!!!

                                                     SEVENTH LESSON

"I am almost done with my investigate" I really wish I could say that, but unfortunately I have a very long way to go. But today is only for wood finishes. I want to follow the same rule, half in class and half at home. Researching about wood finishes was fun because I learnt a lot. I had never heard of a few terminologies and other things and I got a great opportunity to learn today. I did finish half in class and half at home. But I did a better job and a better quality work at home compared to school as I can concentrate better. But overall, I like today's lesson as it was a good learning experience.                                                        SIXTH LESSON

I am lagging behind. I need to catch up with the rest of my class. My peers were on finishing while i was still stuck on wood glues. Today I started wood glues and wanted to finish before night. I finished half of it in school while I finished the rest at home. Researching about wood glue was not as hard as researching about wood joints as this one does not need as much detail! I am making sure I am jotting down the sites that I use on my sticky notes. This will make it easier, when I am doing my bibliography. Overall, today was fun and not as stressful .                                                         FIFTH LESSON

Today I mainly worked on wood joints and had an aim to finish it. I started during class and wanted to finish at least half way and then wanted to go home and finish the rest. Fortunately, everything went according to the plan and I had finished wood joints successfully. It was quite a difficult topic to research on and needed a lot of patience while researching. It was a very frustrating work but I enjoyed a lot too. When I did not understand something, I would immediately ask my peers or my teacher for help. I faced quiet a few instances where I did not understand something properly. BU eventually my doubts were cleared. This is a screen shot of the work done today!

                                      FOURTH DAY

woooww! In my opinion, today was very confusing and a waste of time. First lesson was DT, and we had a whole school photograph in the morning which ate up more that half of our DT lesson! I tried using my time properly and continuing with my work as much as possible. Unfortunately, I could not do much in only 20 minutes. I had just started my research summary when it was time for the next lesson. This was the amount of work that was completed in this lesson: 

                                                          The Third lesson

Today was out third day we and we went to the CT labs to continue without investigate. We were sent a sample investigate showing the different steps of doing the investigate. It made my understanding about everything, better and  after reading the sample investigate i was able to grasp and understand things quicker than before.  This class was very frustrating as there was not internet connect for almost 15 minutes. Until then I did the work which did not need the internet. I worked on the problem description, A.O.I and those small topics. It was something different because i had never done this before. We were given a a sad news today, we had to do our process journal every lesson which was a PAIN! Here is a screenshot of the work i did today:

Second day!

Thursday November 13

We have started our investigate! Today was our second lesson and we had already started our investigate! I am going to enjoy DT a lot! We went to the library to begin with our research. For today, we were told to research about the types of wood joints, and the different types of adhesives and wood glues! We were told to research about WOOD joints as there should not be any metal present in the final storage box! I researched a little about the wood joints, but spent most of the time looking at different designs of a cosmetic storage box. I found many but there was one which caught my attention! The box looks very complicated but I am hoping I will be able to make it, successfully. The box which I MIGHT make is:

Wednesday November 13 

Today was our first lesson of DT for this year. I am expecting a lot from this term. I want to learn many things, have a lot of fun and most importantly get good grades. This time we are making a storage box. The minute we were informed about this, I knew who my client will be and which problem I will be trying to solve. I am my own client as I am very disorganized and frequently loose my belongings. I have many make-up items/accessories that I often misplace. So, I want to solve this problem, by making a cosmetics storage box. I am hoping that the term will end successfully and as planned! This lesson, we just sat in groups and wrote down few disorganization problems. We came up with loads of them, but the one which caught my eye was frequently loosing expensive cosmetic items and accessories. I had a lot of fun today!
